We hope the President stops holding federal workers hostage as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we cannot ignore the needs of those in our community who are most affected. We will do our part to help for as long as the shutdown is in effect.

Marc Zwillinger, founder and managing member of ZwillGen, a D.C.-based boutique firm that specializes in counseling internet companies, commenting on the firm’s new relief initiative meant to assist furloughed federal workers. ZwillGen is offering $100,000 in no-fee, no-interest loans capped at $750 per person to eligible federal employees who make $70,000 or less and do not work a the DOJ, FTC, or SEC (due to the firm’s client conflicts). ZwillGen’s loans were originally supposed to be distributed as additional bonuses for the firm’s staff members. Interested federal employees should visit www.myshutdownrelief.com for assistance.
