Startup Launching Today Will Develop Software To Help Firms And Organizations Better Use Data


Making its official launch today is Infinnium, a software company that aims to redefine how law firms, corporations and other organizations interact with data in order to improve information management, information governance, regulatory and privacy compliance, and e-discovery.

The Chantilly, Va., company says it will develop software using artificial intelligence and machine learning designed to help its customers harness their data to gain actionable intelligence and make smarter business decisions.

The company says it will work with other technology providers and channel partners in developing technology as a part of a broader ecosystem.

The company says it has secured investor funding of an undisclosed amount and is working to complete its first software product, ObscurePI, which ii has slated for release in the spring. ObscurePI is an IG tool designed to help organizations protect sensitive information and achieve compliance with HIPAA, GDPR and other privacy regulations, the company says. It will identify and manage access to personal identifiers in both structured and unstructured data.

Infinnium was founded by Harsh Sutaria, chief success officer and formerly director of client services at e-discovery company Knovos; Nirav Avaiya, chief innovation officer; and Harivadan J. Pandya, chief financial officer, and formerly the CFO of AngioMetrix Corp.

In addition to creating software, Infinnium will offer services such as business and legal operations consulting, legal project management and custom software development.
