This Biglaw Firm Has Always Been Big In The Newspapers

What Biglaw firm — that no longer bears his name — was founded by Robert R. McCormick? McCormick was the grandson of Joseph Medill, the founder of the Chicago Tribune and namesake of Northwestern’s journalism school.

Hint: In 1920, McCormick left the firm to become publisher of the Tribune. In that role, he eventually needed a defamation lawyer and turned to a former partner whose name still hangs on the door of the Biglaw firm today.
